Gloucester Chamber to move across hall to larger quarters

The Gloucester County Chamber of Commerce plans to relocate to larger quarters later this month.

 

Executive director Makalia Records said that the chamber will move from leased space at the Chesapeake Marine Training Institute building at Hayes to a bigger suite right across the hall which previously housed an office for Farm Bureau Insurance.

 

The new space will provide a larger reception area, more offices and a larger board room where the agency’s directors can meet, Records said.

 

The move comes as the chamber prepares for a busy 2014. She said that chamber members have indicated the economy is becoming more positive and she expects members to benefit throughout the upcoming year through a number of networking and educational programs.
