Following a summer break, the Gloucester County Chamber of Commerce will hold a Business After Hours social from 5:30-7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17, at Tidewater Physical Therapy and Tidewater Performance in Gloucester Court House.

Chamber executive director Gloria Williams said the event will feature networking opportunities for local businesses, as well as refreshments and door prizes.

Admission is free for chamber members and $10 for prospective chamber members.

Also, the chamber will hold an educational program from 4-5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22, at Juan’s Mexican Cantina, Hayes. A representative from Chesapeake Bank will discuss new credit card technology and its impact on local businesses, Williams said.

Cost for the program, which will include light hors d’oeuvres, is $10 for chamber members and $15 for prospective members.
