Gloucester chamber looks at restructuring its membership tiers

A committee has been examining ways to streamline Gloucester County Chamber of Commerce’s membership tiers, executive director Makalia Records said May 5.

The committee is expected to present its recommendations to the chamber board soon, Records said. The current multi-tier structure indicates which members can host socials and receive various levels of membership privileges.

In addition, she said the chamber may change its membership fees, but that also has not yet been determined by the board.

This week, the chamber began conducting an online survey of business owners to gauge their thoughts on participating in the chamber and the vitality of the local business community. The survey should take only 5-10 minutes to complete, Records said.
