Gloucester Chamber has busy few months ahead

The Gloucester County Chamber of Commerce has a full slate of events planned for the next few months, including both social and educational programs.

A Business After Hours will be held from 5:30-7 p.m. next Thursday, March 16, at the Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society. Alcova Mortgage will also be a sponsor.

“This is great,” chamber executive director Gloria Mazzella Williams said of a business partnering with a nonprofit. The social will include refreshments, tours of the shelter, networking opportunities and a chance to brief chamber members and prospective members about upcoming programs.

Cost is free for chamber members; $10 for prospective members.

The chamber will kick off its first of four business-oriented workshops from 8:30-11:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 21, at the Main Street Training Center, 6882 Main Street. Other sessions are planned for June, August and November.
