Gloucester car dealership holds Apple Tree program

Bill Hudgins Automotive Inc. in Gloucester is asking residents to chip in and help a child in foster care get ready for the coming school year. The GMC truck/car dealership is sponsoring its annual Apple Tree program, with donations of cash and school supplies made to the Gloucester County Department of Social Services going to support needy boys and girls.

Between now and Aug. 17, people are encouraged to stop by the dealership and either pick an apple from the tree (with the name of a needed item) and purchase that item, drop off a department store gift card or make a monetary donation.

If selected, monetary donations can be made by a check, made payable to Gloucester County Department of Social Services, noting “Foster Care” in the memo section. Receipts are available upon request.

For more information, call Bill Hudgins Automotive at 693-2828.
