Gloucester BZA approves variance request

The Gloucester County Board of Zoning Appeals approved the lone application to be considered following a public hearing April 26 in the colonial courthouse.

Applicant Yuping Seywald was granted approval for a 10-foot variance from the east side yard setback requirement of 10 feet for an accessory dwelling. The applicant wants to build a new principal structure nearby and then the current house, which is rented out, will become an accessory structure, planner Tripp Little said.

The subject property is located at 9253 Rowes Point Road in the York Magisterial District and is zoned Bayside Conservation (C-2). ...
