Gloucester board to hold work session Tuesday

The Gloucester Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing to amend the FY2023 budget during its work session Tuesday at the colonial courthouse.

Also during the work session, which begins at 7 p.m., the board will review a fourth-quarter financial report for the fiscal year that ended in June. There will also be local approval of an amendment to the Northern Neck Regional Jail FY2023 annual budget.

The board will also vote to possibly accept and appropriate grant funding from the state Department of Criminal Justice FY2023 school resource officer grant program. The board will also hold discussions on capital funding priorities, American Rescue Plan Act funding opportunities and a potential amendment to the county noise ordinance.
