The Gloucester County Board of Supervisors has a number of items on its work session agenda Tuesday night, including a discussion on the potential formation of a Regional Economic Development Organization. This regional organization would focus on serving localities on the Middle Peninsula. The meeting will begin at 7 o’clock in the colonial courthouse.
Other items on Tuesday’s agenda include a 2015 Virginia General Assembly update given by Del. Keith Hodges (R-Middlesex); a review of the county’s fund balance, debt and potential refunding opportunities; an update on the county’s Hazard Mitigation Grant Program elevation projects, and a discussion regarding the development of a formal program for public information regarding the county’s Floodplain Management Committee.
