The Gloucester County Board of Supervisors will elect a new chair and vice chair, among other agenda items, at its organizational meeting Tuesday night, beginning at 7 p.m. in the colonial courthouse.

Also under organizational items, supervisors will discuss and approve the board’s meeting schedule for 2011. They will also discuss and approve its operating procedures, rules of procedure, standards of conduct, code of ethics, citizen and media contacts and meetings, training and conferences policy.

Board members will be appointed to various boards, committees and commissions.

Another item on Tuesday night’s agenda includes a discussion and decision on irrigation (exclusion) meters use and fee in the county. This type of meter allows the user to measure usage of water/sewer for irrigation purposes, so as to not be imposed charges for water that will not be going into the sanitary sewer system.
