The Gloucester County School Board made several personnel appointments during its Aug. 13 meeting.
The following persons were appointed to teaching positions for the 2013-2014 school year: Diana Brock of Gloucester, Michael Carroll of Hayes, Dalila Johnson and Emily G. Carlson of Yorktown, Timothy Winchester of Poquoson, Amanda Small of Newport News, and Tara Schmitt of Owego, N.Y.
Also, Joseph Ingraham of Hampton, was appointed as the athletic trainer/teacher at Gloucester High School. Patricia Roe of Yorktown, was appointed as the nurse at Achilles Elementary.
Appointed as teacher assistants were JoAnne Kurtz, Lori Drake, Bethany Stone, Angel Bauman, and Constance Reilley of Gloucester. Carrie Martin of Hayes was appointed as a technology assistant. In addition, Lorainne Smith of Toano. and Anthony Ware and James Cole of Gloucester. were appointed to support positions.
