The Gloucester County School Board made several personnel appointments during its July 14 meeting at the T.C. Walker Education Center.
The following persons were appointed to teaching positions for the 2015-2016 school year: Sarah Clements, Amy O’Neil, Tara Shumate and Patricia Wood, all of Gloucester; Jessica Gaul of Hayes; Robert Andrade of Yorktown; Laura Albert of Toano; Daniel Anderson and Dorsey Hooker of Newport News; Eric Schaefer of Woodbridge, and Amy Moulenbelt of Katy, Texas.
Jennifer McSweeney of Gloucester, was appointed as an instructional literacy specialist.
Appointed to support positions were Carol Dehoux of Mathews, and Elizabeth Goller and Edwin Spriggs of Gloucester.
Resignations were accepted from school division budget and finance director Joanne Wright, teachers Jennifer Ewell, Lindsay Newell and George Roesch, speech pathologist Amy Vaughn, and support employees Sandra Greisz and Robert Whitam. ...
