Gloucester board gears up for 2016

The Gloucester County Board of Supervisors will hold its organizational meeting for 2016 Tuesday night beginning at 7 o’clock in the colonial courthouse. The board is expected to elect a new chair and vice chair for the governing body, as well as make its annual appointments to the clerk, deputy clerk and emergency management positions.

Director of Human Resources Pat Michura is expected to review with the board-recommended revisions to the personnel policies and procedures manual for county employees during Tuesday night’s meeting.

Also, the board is expected to discuss and approve its 2016 rules of procedure, standards of conduct and code of ethics. Finally, board members will discuss and approve its 2016 board committee and commission assignments.

Tuesday’s meeting will be the first regular board of supervisors meeting for Gloucester’s newly-appointed county administrator Brent Fedors.
