Gloucester board approves personnel changes

The Gloucester County School Board made three personnel appointments during its Aug. 23 work session. Ashley Hollins of Hayes, was appointed to teach at Bethel Elementary and Mary Blanton of Carrollton, was appointed to teach Spanish at Gloucester High School. Also, Denise Campbell of Gloucester Point, was named a teacher assistant at Achilles Elementary

Resignations were accepted from GHS assistant nurse Nicole Rowe, Page Middle School teacher assistant Lisa Shelton and support employees Jennifer Norman and Pamela Pryor. In addition, retirement was approved for teacher assistant Marilyn Hackett.

 

In appointments to positions paid by supplement, Gus Morande was appointed as the varsity baseball coach at GHS and Christopher Morgan was reappointed as the varsity boys’ basketball coach, also at GHS.
