Several Baystars youth soccer teams recorded wins over the past two weekends of gameplay. Hurricanes The U10 Hurricanes defeated the Old Dominion Soccer Club U11 Sharks, 15-0, on April 18 at Woodville Park. Ryder Jarrell and Abel Williams, who are both new to the Hurricanes this season, scored several times during the match. Declan McDonough, Gabe Franklin, Braiden Fry, Declan Long, Jep Doley, Jack Sheridan and Theo Collins also contributed goals, while Brody Meadows recorded several assists. Bryson Foster served as goalkeeper. The Hurricanes also defeated the Beach FC U11 Whitecaps, 5-1, the afternoon of April 19 at Woodville. During the first half, Collins and Doley scored early with assists by Long. Collins nailed a penalty kick goal and Sheridan scored from a Doley corner kick. Franklin scored the final goal for the Hurricanes in the second half. Goalkeepers Spencer Leigh and Foster recorded multiple saves for the team throughout the match.
