Gloucester author has several recent works to her credit

Patti Gaustad Procopi of Gloucester, has several recent publications to her credit.

They include her first novel, published in November 2020, “Please … Tell Me More.” This is a story about sisters and families, and the death by drowning of Ivy and Rose’s baby sister Lily. Procopi said this is a tragic book with humorous elements.

Procopi has also had the short story “Canned Ravioli” published in an online journal, “Literally Stories,” and another short story has received second place in the Keating prize and first (chapter level) in the Golden Nib for “Sealed with a Kiss.”

Procopi and her husband Greg have lived in Gloucester since the 1980s and raised three daughters and many cats and dogs. She is retired from working at two area history museums.

She now writes, volunteers with a Raptor Rehab facility, and enjoys travel and yard work.
