Gloucester County assessor Derek Green will speak this summer at the 80th annual International Conference on Assessment Administration in Sacramento, Calif.

The conference, which is scheduled for Aug. 24-27, will be an opportunity for Gloucester and its developing assessment process to be on stage on an international level, he said.

Green, along with assessors from four other localities, is expected to speak under the category, “management and human resource trends and opportunities.” He will share Gloucester’s success story with the International Association of Assessing Officers’ Technical Assistance Program.

Earlier this year, members of Scott County, Minnesota’s assessment team traveled to Gloucester to see the county’s new appraisal software and modeling.
