The Gloucester County School Board appointed two new middle school principals during its meeting Tuesday at the T.C. Walker Education Center.

Dr. Patricia McMahon of Yorktown was named the top administrator at Page Middle School and Craig Reed of Virginia Beach as the new principal of Peasley Middle School. They begin their new positions on Aug. 1.

The board also appointed Petsworth Elementary assistant principal Anna Harwood as the new principal at Abingdon Elementary. Harwood succeeds LaQuiche Parrott, whose resignation was effective June 30.

In addition, the board assigned Roger Gross as the assistant principal at Page. Gross held that position before he was transferred earlier this summer to Peasley.

Jennifer Eddy, who had been the assistant principal at Peasley but was transferred to Page this summer, was again transferred to assistant principal for alternative learning programs. ...
