Gloucester 4-Hers win ribbons at farm products show

Laura Redman of the A Fifth H 4-H Club in Gloucester tallied 14 blue ribbons in the Gloucester 4-H Vegetable, Fruit and Farm Products Show held Saturday at Tractor Supply.

In the fruit and vegetable categories, Redman won blues for watermelon, chocolate cherry tomato, blueberries, purple pole beans, garlic, new potatoes, Concord grapes, onion, spaghetti squash and Cushaw squash. Her cucumber was a white ribbon winner. Redman also won blue ribbons for her large eggs, extra large eggs, sweet pickles and salsa.

 

Other fruit and vegetable winners were as follows: Michael Angles, white ribbon, zucchini; Layla Angles, white summer squash; Noah Brown, blues, Roma tomato, eggplant, banana pepper, jalapeno, fig, yellow pear tomato and red, cherry tomato; Emily Elam, blue, cucumber; Sarah Guinn, blues, Serrano pepper, potatoes, chili peppers and dried peas; Aailiyah Isham, blue, peppers; Lexi Nicole, blue, banana peppers, and Dylan Pearce, red, summer squash.
