Gloucester 4-H Club competes in South Carolina State Fair

Bradley Murphy (at left) and Ryan Smith and Tristan Buswell (right photo, from left) of the Gloucester 4-H Club showed their hogs at the South Carolina State Fair, winning several ribbons.
The Gloucester Animal Science 4-H Club attended the South Carolina State Fair and showed their hogs in several different classes.
Bradley Murphy received second and Reserve Grand Champion Duroc Gilt in the Registered February Duroc class; second and Reserve Grand Champion Berkshire Gilt in the Registered February Berkshire class; second and Reserve Grand Champion Berkshire boar in the Registered March Berkshire class, making it to the top 10 out of 35 entries for his showmanship class.
Lindsey Murphy received third in Showmanship and third in the Registered February Duroc class, ninth place in Sundays 15 and under Showmanship class and 10th place in her costume class.
Zachary Murphy received fifth place in his Showmanship class. Tristan Buswell received fourth in the Registered February Duroc class.
