Glass artist Rita Cutler has been named April Artist of the Month by the Bay School Community Arts Center in Mathews. Cutler enjoys repurposing various objects and giving them new life, said a press release. This love led her to create her business, Whiskey Bottle Art, 20 years ago. “My glass-on-glass mosaics, made of recycled glass, with old windows as the canvas, create a new history while bringing forward the old,” she said.
