Gladys Ward, age 95, of Bohannon, went to be with our Lord, March 5, 2013.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Henry Ward; her father and mother, Albert and Rose Burnick, and her sister, Esther Poster.

Gladys had a deep love for animals and believed they have a special place in people’s lives.

Services will be private.

Contributions may be made to an animal charity of the donor’s choice, or to Riverside Hospice, 7358 Main Street, Gloucester, Va. 23061, who gave Gladys such wonderful care.

Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Mathews, is in charge of the arrangements.
