Giving thanks

Zoe Fulford, above at left, and Belle King distributed parting gifts to the hundreds who enjoyed a free Thanksgiving meal at White Marsh Baptist Church on Saturday. At right, volunteer Hayden Harris dished up dressing during the 10th annual event. Members of Bellamy United Methodist Church assisted the White Marsh congregation in preparing and serving 550 to 600 holiday dinners for the local community. A number of other community Thanksgiving meals are planned for today, including one at the Courthouse Restaurant in Gloucester and another at Abingdon Episcopal Church, White Marsh.
