Giving thanks

Thanksgiving came early for the more than 700 individuals who gathered at White Marsh Baptist Church on Saturday for the 12th annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner. Members of White Marsh Baptist and Bellamy United Methodist churches put together a traditional Thanksgiving meal with all the trimmings, including the stuffing, which was dished out by volunteers Richie Lou Carmine, Cathy Dale and Betty Cook, from left. Other churches will be opening their doors today for free Thanksgiving dinners—from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Abingdon Episcopal Church, White Marsh, and 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Kingston Episcopal parish house, Mathews.
