Giving back

For more than a decade, Courthouse Restaurant owners Doug and Kim Hibbs have opened their restaurant, and their hearts, to the Gloucester community, hosting a free Thanksgiving dinner, a way of giving back to the people who have supported them over the years. Last Thursday, the couple and their team of dedicated volunteers served around 300 meals, providing traditional Thanksgiving fare meal and a feeling of home to many happy visitors. Community Thanksgiving meals were also held at Abingdon Episcopal Church in White Marsh (see Church news) and Kingston Episcopal in Mathews (see related story).
