In the second year of its Gift of Hearing campaign, The Audiology Offices, LLC will provide without charge a pair of hearing aids to an individual in need in the community.

Many applications were received last year and the applicants were judged based on the impact the hearing loss had on the individual’s quality of life, a release stated. The judges consisted of professionals who have hearing loss themselves.

During her 21 years as owner of The Audiology Offices, LLC, Dr. Ann DePaolo Wietsma has met many patients with limited financial means to obtain quality hearing instruments, the release said. Her offices work with local Lions Clubs to provide help to those in need, but are limited to the use of good reconditioned hearing aids in this program.

“The Gift of Hearing Campaign 2023 will allow us to deliver on our commitment to help our neighbors and give back to our community,” she said.
