Gloucester High School is holding a special, weeklong graduation ceremony this week that is personalized for each of its 2020 graduates.

Gloucester is graduating the seniors one at a time in its gym and allowing their loved ones to share the special moment with them. Before each graduate enters the gym, their family and friends are led to the left of the makeshift stage, where the graduate will exit.

Once inside the gym, the graduate’s accomplishments and plans for the future are read allowed while the graduate walks across the stage. Once the graduate has received a diploma, they can move their tassel and become an official, high school graduate.

The weeklong ceremony began Monday and is expected to end Friday with 416 total graduates.
