GHS volleyball Pink Games to benefit Giving Garden Foundation

The Gloucester High School boys’ and girls’ volleyball teams will play their annual Pink Games beginning at 5 p.m. Monday at GHS. For the fifth consecutive year, the games will benefit the Giving Garden Foundation, which provides financial assistance to cancer patients in Gloucester and Mathews. 

This year, the Pink Games will pay a special tribute to the late GHS principal Tony Beverage, who was a big supporter of the Pink Games project. 

The GHS varsity girls will host Mathews on Monday while the boys will take on Norfolk Christian Academy. The entry fee is $4 and the evening will include food, raffles, vendors and a special guest. The past four Pink Games have raised more than $7,500 for the Giving Garden Foundation.   ...
