The Gloucester High School boys’ and girls’ track and field teams finished the regular season with identical 4-2 records, both placing fourth overall in the Peninsula District Outdoor Track Meet.
In the PD event, first place went to Jazmine Banks in the shot put with a throw of 36’5" and the discus with a toss of 110’9.5", Evan Wagner in the high jump (5’ even) and Tina Vickers in the pole vault. Natalie Bueker was second in the high jump with 4’10", fourth in the long jump with 17’1.5" and fifth in the 400 meter dash in 1:01.73.
Elisabeth Drake was third in the 3200 race in 13:20.85 and seventh in the 1600 in 5:52.63. Khadjah Payne was third in the shot put with a throw of 32’1", Emily Manzanares was fifth in the 1600 in 5:52.63 and Haley Lucas was sixth in the shot put with 29’9" and eighth in the discus with a distance of 78’7.5".
