GHS track takes first in boys’ 4x800m relay

The Gloucester High School track team took first place in the boys’ 4x800m relay at the team’s Wednesday, May 26 track meet. Leo Berry, Clayton Miller, Joshua Pinder and Ryan Allcorn finished the relay with a time of 9:36.60.

Tanner Baker took first in the boys’ 800m dash with a time of 2:06.10. Alec Daniel came in second place with a time of 2:07.22 and Conner O’Beirne finished in fourth with a time of 2:08.20.

Baker also took first place in the boys’ 1600m dash with a time of 4:38.84, followed by Daniel in second with a time of 4:52.38 and O’Beirne in third with a time of 4:55.25. Owen Hogge also competed in the race and finished with a time of 5:44.84, followed by Ian Waters (6:06.86) and Jacob Poulin (7:01.16).

Pace Peterson competed in the boys’ 100m relay and finished with a time of 13.02, followed by Devin Lowney (14.23) and Ethan Pincince (15.07).
