The Gloucester High School track and field teams competed in their last regular meet of the season last Thursday at GHS.

This meet was also their senior night, where they gave their final tribute to the team’s graduating seniors. Seniors leaving this year are Kevin Philips, Pace Peterson, Taylor Hawkey, Devin Lowney, Christopher Hammerbacher, Nasir Baptist, Leo Berry, Jeremiah Thornton, Carter Hill, Emily Shipe, and Tanner Baker.

Next, GHS track and field will host the 5B Regional Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Friday and Saturday. On Friday, the events start at 12:30 p.m. On Saturday, the field events start at 9:30 a.m. and the running events start at 1 p.m.

The girls’ and the boys’ teams performed well as they closed out their regular season and stepped into their postseason meets.
