GHS soccer teams post wins

The Gloucester High School boys’ soccer team nabbed a pair of wins over the last week, beating Denbigh last Thursday by a 5-1 margin and shutting out the Warwick Raiders on Tuesday, 1-0, with the game’s only goal scored by Cayden Brumm.

The Gloucester Lady Dukes faced only Warwick, because the match against Denbigh was rescheduled. The Lady Dukes shut out the Raiders on Tuesday, 7-0. Hanna Heaton led the team in scoring, recording a hat trick. Caroline Merchant scored twice, and Caitlyn Shelton and Mara Collier scored one apiece.

Collier and Merchant also record two assists in the game with Cori Morgan recording one. Gloucester’s goalie Julie Trist recorded one save in the game.
