The Gloucester High School varsity girls’ and varsity boys’ soccer teams closed their seasons last week with losses in the Conference 10 Tournament hosted by GHS.
The fourth-seeded Gloucester girls fell, 3-2, to fifth-seeded Bethel on May 17 after beating the Bruins a month earlier. The Dukes were scoreless through the first half and went on to lose despite second-half goals by Gwen Robins and Brooke Cheatham.
The Gloucester boys, also fourth-seeded, lost 1-0 to fifth-seeded Hampton in overtime last Thursday. Both Conference 10 Tournaments were slated to continue at GHS this week. ...
