GHS soccer

The Gloucester High School varsity boys’ soccer team competed in the VHSL Class 4, Region A tournament this past week, beating Grafton in last Thursday’s quarterfinals, 4-1, but falling to Jamestown, 2-0, in Tuesday’s semifinals, closing out the Dukes’ season. In the Grafton game, Mason Schmidt scored the first goal for GHS, with Corey Skay scoring a hat trick, with assists by Max Bell (two) and Brody Sutton.
