GHS senior class fills hallways with murals

 

The 2019 senior class of Gloucester High School is starting the school year on the right foot by painting murals throughout the hallways.

The painting started on July 31 and continued to Aug. 2. Twenty-six volunteers from the senior class worked six hours a day with high spirits and cheerful attitudes, breaking only for lunch.

GHS has a tradition of having the senior class of every year painting a mural in the school over the summer; however, the senior class of 2019 is the first to paint, not one, not two, but 25 throughout the school. Each mural displays a positive message or inspirational quote in hopes of carrying the optimistic attitude through the rest of the year. ...
