GHS runners win 3,200m relay at Suffolk

Gloucester High School track athletes Ruby Williams, Alyssa Lass, Katherine Saunders and Makala White teamed up to win the 3,200 meter relay with a time of 11:14.25 at the Suffolk Invitational Track and Field Meet on Saturday. 

Lass was also second in the 800 meter race in 2:38.13. For the Gloucester boys, Aaron Shipe, Colton Spence, Andrew Wible and Christopher Potter were second in their 3,200 relay in 9:0.21. 

Setting personal records at the meet were Desiree Walker in the 100 and 200, White in the 800, Taige Brown in the discus and 100, Justin Young in the 100, John Pryor Jr. in the 200, Shipe in the 200 and 400, Spence in the 800, Wible in the 1,600, Mikey Toms in the 1,600 and James Perkins in the shot put.
