GHS runners beat Woodside, Kecoughtan

The Gloucester High School cross country runners beat Woodside and Kecoughtan in their last home meet of the season Oct. 7 at Beaverdam Park.

The Gloucester girls were led by Megan McGee who was second overall in 22:33.91, Mia Robinson at fourth place in 22:15.29, Brooke Cheatham at sixth in 22:50.6, Ruby Williams at seventh in 23:05.14, and Chasity Lass at eighth in 23:10.99. 

Michael Chaffin won the boys’ race for the Dukes in 18.39.31, David Sadikov was third in 19:05.29, Joshua Walker was fourth in 19:35.82, Logan Touchstone was sixth in 19:42.63, and Chase Holland was eighth in 19:51.26. 

Gloucester junior varsity runners were led by Lydia Hart in 23:22.7, Laura Tobin in 23:34.41, Christopher Potter in 21:05.83, and Jacob Taylor in 21:29.41.  ...
