GHS presumptive top student reflects on high school career

Jeffrey Cho is a second-generation South Korean immigrant and expected to be valedictorian of this year’s senior class at Gloucester High School. He currently holds the top spot in class rankings with a 4.679 grade point average, as of junior year.

Cho has always valued his family and the unconditional love and support they give him in all of his efforts. Throughout his life, Cho’s vision of the future has changed. When he was much younger, Cho imagined himself becoming a lawyer, defending the ideals of truth and justice.

“Truth is the foundation of justice that continues to burn the fire known as hope,” he said. Although he has outgrown that dream, he holds those values dear and carries them with him in all he does.
