The Gloucester High School boys’ tennis team started Conference 10 play last week and dropped both matches. The Dukes lost to Indian River on May 5 and lost a 6-3 match with Hickory at GHS last Thursday.
James Hutzler and Aleck Hitsman won their singles matches against Hickory opponents and teamed for an 8-4 win in doubles. The Gloucester boys need wins over Warwick and Great Bridge this week to stay in contention for the conference team tournament. ...
