The Gloucester High School cross country teams beat Warwick last Wednesday, Sept. 15.

Brandon Carucci came in first for Gloucester with a time of 22:46 and Joel Taylor who finished at 23:39. Michael Asnicar ran a 24:49, followed by Pace Peterson (25:10), Erik Waters (27:22), Jacob Poulin (28:16) and D.J. Turner (28:29).

Chandler Howlett (JV) ran a 22:14 at the meet, followed by Karl Dean (JV) (22:40) and Erik Waters (JV) (27:22).

For the girls, Kaylee Hall ran a 24:47, followed by Samantha Jacobs (28:16), Abigail Junker (28:27), Tai Sewell (29:08), Mackenzie Alcorn (29:41) and Abby Brown (33:03).

Invitational

GHS also participated in the Pole Green Upper Course Fast Track 2021 invitational on Saturday in Mechanicsville.Clayton Miller came in first for Gloucester with a time of 21:08, followed by Ethan Gardiner who ran a 21:31 and Wyatt Pruitt who ran a 21:40.
