GHS graduation to be held June 15-19

Gloucester High School Principal Craig Reed posted his latest update on plans for the GHS 2020 commencement on social media this past weekend. The commencement exercises will be held the week of June 15.

Reed said that in the next few days each senior will receive a communication from a GHS counselor that will specifically indicate the day and time that senior should report for graduation.

Seniors A-CO; June 16, CR-HA; June 17, HE-MIM; June 18, MIN-SH and June 19, SI-Z.

Seniors should arrive at least 10 minutes before their scheduled time and should wear formal attire under their caps and gowns. Each senior will initially be allotted five tickets.

If the 10-person limit for in-person gatherings is increased by Gov. Ralph Northam to a higher number after June 10, GHS plans to allocate five additional tickets to each senior.
