Aidan Collier, a 2020 Gloucester High School graduate, has published a new writing website, red-panda-room.square.site. The site is a place for Collier to share his own writing, but it’s also a forum for other local amateur writers to share their work, whether short stories or poetry.
Writers who wish to have their work cited can have their writing put on the “Coati Corner” page, along with their name and any other form of citation they wish, including a Facebook username, Instagram @, or their own website link, said a press release.
Those wishing to remain anonymous may have their writing placed on the “Raccoon Hideaway” page.
Writing that contains plagiarism (cited quotes and passages are okay) and hate speech will be rejected, said the release. Certain works will have warnings of mature themes, depending on the content.
Some short works of Collier’s can be found on the page titled “Red Panda’s Desk,” but the bulk of his efforts will be on the page “Magical Billy.”
