GHS field hockey continues undefeated march

The Gloucester High School varsity girls continued their undefeated march through the 2014 field hockey schedule as they posted four more wins in recent action.

“We’re playing well. We’re starting to function as a team and we’re passing well,” said Gloucester coach Mike Miller, who added some young newcomers to his mix of players this season. 

The Dukes were a little sluggish Tuesday but still posted a 6-0 win at Bethel. “We were slow yesterday. They got off the bus slow and they were just slow for about the first 20 minutes,” Miller said. 

When they did pick it up, Gloucester got goals from Bri Greene, Brittany Romero, Tori Harwood, Sam West and two from Cassidy Goodwin. Harwood and Goodwin also provided two assists and assists were contributed by Cheyenne Hollandsworth, Maddie Hutson and Romero.
