GHS falls to Woodside, 56-10

The Wolverines kept the ball on the ground and the Dukes could not stop the rush as Woodside beat visiting Gloucester, 56-10, on Friday at Todd Stadium. 

Woodside went to work quickly and racked up five first quarter touchdowns. A field goal from kicker Watkins Yeager got the Dukes on the board in the second quarter, but the Wolverines led, 48-3, at the half. 

After a scoreless third quarter, both teams scored a touchdown in the final period. Devon Pullen scored the Gloucester TD with a short dive into the end zone. Still looking for a win this season, GHS plays at Denbigh at 4 p.m. on Saturday. ...
