Fall sports get underway at Gloucester High School Monday with tryouts for football, golf, field hockey, volleyball and cheerleading. 

Varsity football tryouts will be held from noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and tryouts for the junior varsity squad will be held from 2:30 to 6 p.m., both at the GHS football practice field. 

Golf tryouts will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Gloucester Country Club. Field hockey tryouts for both the varsity and junior varsity squads will be held from 7 to 10 a.m. Monday through Friday and from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday at the GHS field hockey field.

Tryouts for girls’ volleyball will be held from 7 to 9 a.m. Monday through Wednesday and tryouts for boys’ volleyball will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday through Thursday, both in the GHS main gymnasium.

Cheerleading tryouts are slated from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday in the GHS auxiliary gymnasium. 

Cross country tryouts are still to be determined but...
