The Gloucester High School varsity football team ended its season Friday, falling to the visiting Bethel Bruins, 29-18. Gloucester managed to play only two games during the abbreviated season, finishing with a record of 1-1.
“It definitely didn’t end the way we wanted,” head coach John Scalf said. “Still, the seniors played their hearts out but at the end of the day Bethel was just a little better than we were that night. This staff will truly miss those guys. A group of young men who did their best to make this season memorable.”
