GHS class leaders deliver graduation addresses

The Gloucester High School Class of 2020 had three student speakers for graduation. Their speeches were recorded and played on the Gloucester County Public Schools website prior to the 9 a.m. start of each graduation session held and broadcast June 14-19.

The speakers, class valedictorian Justin Burgess, salutatorian Daniel Hook and the Duke of the Year Brianna Pollard, urged their peers to care, to think critically, and to be positive.

After offering his thanks to the many that made high school “better for me and you,” Burgess continued, “now that my thanks are done, I want to talk about the future. You are done with high school. Congratulations. You actually did it. You are done with congested hallways. Done with SOLs. Done with late nights working on SIRS. You are done.
