GHS boys win XC away meet; girls fall to Menchville

The Gloucester High School boys’ cross country team beat Menchville in last week’s away meet with a team score of 19. The Lady Dukes did not fair as well, falling to the Lady Monarchs by a team score of 40.

Tanner Baker came in first place with a time of 18.21. Joel Jocker finished next for Gloucester and third overall with a time of 19:38, followed by Rylan Alcorn (20:13.15) and Tyler Hicks (20:13.88).

Leo Berry ran a 20:15, followed by Owen Hogge (21:14), Carter Hill (21:15), Josh Pinder (21:17), Clayton Miller (22:06), Wyatt Pruitt (22:09), Chandler Howlett (JV) (22:23), Ian Waters (22:58), Joel Taylor (23:10), Braden Enoch (23:11), Ethan Gardiner (23:24), Michael Asnicar (24:28), Karl Dean (JV) (25:02), Pace Peterson (25:08), Jacob Poulin (26:41), D.J. Turner (27:41) and Erik Waters (JV) (27:41).
