The Gloucester High School varsity boys’ basketball team won the Tabb Holiday Tournament at Tabb High School last Thursday with a 55-44 victory over Poquoson.
The Dukes beat Tabb 60-55 on Dec. 28 to reach the championship game. Demariyea Sills led Gloucester in both games with 34 points against Tabb and 14 in the Poquoson game and was named a tournament MVP.
The Dukes, at 4-7 overall, returned to Peninsula District action last night at Warwick and host Bethel tomorrow. ...
