The Gloucester High School varsity boys’ soccer team defeated New Kent last Wednesday, 6-1, and beat Lafayette on Monday in double overtime, 4-3. Individual stats were not available for either game by press time.

Lady Dukes

Meanwhile, the Lady Dukes lost, 1-0, against New Kent on the home field last Wednesday and on Tuesday night, the varsity girls hosted Lafayette and were shut out by the Rams, 5-0.

Junior Varsity

The JV boys shut out New Kent, 9-0, in their April 22 match, and blanked Lafayette Monday night with a 4-0 win. The JV girls also won their match against New Kent with a 1-0 shutout win.
