GHS boys place third in CNU Invitational

The Gloucester High School cross country teams competed in their penultimate regular season event on Saturday, running at Lee Hall Mansion as part of the CNU Invitational. The Gloucester boys’ team would place third overall with a score of 83, only missing second place over Menchville by one point.

Despite having never run the course before, a sunny day and dry grass made for ideal running conditions. Coming in first for the Gloucester boys was Tanner Baker with a time of 17:15.

Following Baker was Conner O’Beirne (17:31), Justin Burgess (18:03), Austin Ezzell (18:10), Josh Ipock (18:26), Mikey Toms (18:38), Alec Daniel (19:00), Hayden Smith (19:17), Owen Hogge (20:37), Carter Hill (21:22), Ian Waters (21:36), Trent Fox (22:39), Jared Fox (23:59), and Liam Skiles (25:24).
